Question: Are there volunteer opportunities?

Answer: SAYFA is a volunteer run organization. While we hire junior high and high school athletes to ref games and run chains, we can always use some help with concessions both at the Kickoff Classic and on Saturday morning games. A method of sign up will be introduced at the beginning of the season. All help is appreciated.

At the end of the season, Board and committee positions may be available. Please consider being a bigger part of SAYFA and contributing in some way.

Question: When does the season start, and when does it end?

Answer: Practices begin in August and run through mid-October.  Please see the Calendar tab (located at the top of the website) and Sports Engine app.

Question: What does JV & Varsity stand for?

Answer: JV & Varsity are used to separate our two age groups. JV is comprised of 3rd and 4th graders. Varsity represents the 5th and 6th graders. JV teams do not play varsity teams.

Question: Does SAYFA keep records?

Answer: Our goal is to teach the players good sound football fundamentals and techniques. Games are not officially scored and standings are not kept. (The kids will always be able to tell you who won though.)

Question: Is there a SAYFA refund policy?

Answer: Yes. While we understand that circumstances arise that force you to remove your child from the program, refunds will be given based on the schedule below:

Prior to equipment handout - A $25 administrative fee will be withheld on all refunds.

After equipment handout - A $25 administrative fee and a $25 restocking fee will be withheld on all refunds.

After first game - No refund available.
